Reviews

I was very excited to order this for a friend, because this is one of very few books about this interesting artist. I am happy that Andrew Causey put this together, because lord knows Nash is not a household name. There are a lot of reproductions in this book, but are quite small, a bit pale, with often three or four images to a spread which can make it a little difficult to take them in unimpeded. This is an artist that really is deserving of a more sensitive publication with attention to detail and larger more quality reproductions. Overall a this is a pretty good book though. For fans of landscape painting, Charles Burchfield, Stanley Spencer, John Piper, even Morris Graves this book is recommended.
