I bought this book only today and have not read it in its entirety. My first impression is that it's a great way to quickly learn the most important functions of the SL2. In my opinion, the price of the book is worthwhile because you will learn much more far quicker than spending time with Canon's instruction manual. I bought the Kindle edition and the images are perfectly good quality and legible, unlike some other Kindle books that I have bought. If you value your time, I suggest to buy it to get a quick start guide into using your SL2.
